I’m having no audio issues from any other sources if that wasn’t already clear. Pulse Audio control shows me a there’s a playback module for it, but doesn’t register any sound coming from the app. ![]() Nothing else about Musescore seems to be having any issues. ![]() I just wanted to let you now you're not alone.Hi! I just installed Musescore, and I’m not getting any sound from it. My explanation is that the apps are still in beta and we just have to expect that it won't work as it should for some time (which annoys me because it works fine for a lot of users :D). Input works fine from piano keyboard - a bit latency. When I installed MuseHub, I downloaded sounds up to the seventh try and even the app itself kept crashing. I have just this weekend finally connected my electronic piano to pc for aiding with note input. When I try to launch, it shows the loading screen for 1-2 seconds and then suddenly goes off. After having disable the reverb effect on some instruments, it works better. I have not been able to launch Musescore after its new update. I've tried turning it on on two different Windows 11 laptops made a year and two years ago, so I don't believe it is a problem with the computer. After having update Musescore to 4.1.1, I often have bugs, so the sound is cut, the mp3 export is very very slow, but my CPU and memory are not overcharged. ![]() As for the sounds, neither the classic ones nor the better ones from MuseHub worked for me. When I tried to play a file created in the latest Musescore 3.6, sometimes an instrument wouldn't even play, let alone the dynamics and staccato (which didn't work as it should). But when I started putting in notes, it kept playing just some of them, and as you say, it was terribly buggy. The installation went completely fine, even the first launch. I had the exact same problem as you three weeks ago. ![]()
